Carleton Place Family Photography Session

It might have been raining a little through out the entire photography session… BUT the pictures turned out awesome and a little sprinkle of rain never hurt anyone!! The fall colours were just starting to change when I photographed this session at my clients home but we definitely achieved the warm golden tones the season brings to photos.

I know many clients hope for a nice sunny day for pictures… but really what I hope for is a nice overcast day! Haha The sun can create a lot of shadows that won’t be as harsh with a little overcast because the clouds act as a defuser. This is especially helpful when we aren’t shooting during golden hour.
